Is it a fair go?
Paste a suspicious text or email. Ranger sniffs out the red flags and tells you what to do next.

What to do with a dodgy message
- Don’t tap links, reply or call numbers in it.
- Contact the organisation through its official app, or a phone number you look up yourself.
- Report it to Scamwatch. Forward scam texts to the ACMA on 0429 999 888, and scam emails to report@submit.spam.acma.gov.au.
- Lost money or personal information? Make a police report through ReportCyber (or call 1300 CYBER1, 1300 292 371).
Already clicked or paid?
Call your bank or card provider straight away and ask them to stop any payments. Then contact IDCARE on 1800 595 160 (Mon–Fri 7am–7pm AEST), a free service that helps you make a plan. If anyone is in danger, call 000.
Fair Go Check gives a second opinion, not a guarantee. If you’re unsure, treat it as a scam.
