Refund Policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026
Merlewatch is currently free, so there is nothing to refund today. This policy will apply to any paid features offered later by Merlewatch (an independent developer based in Victoria, Australia).
1. 14-day change-of-mind refund
If you change your mind for any reason, email me within 14 days of purchase and I’ll give you a full refund. You don’t have to explain why. Your licence key will be deactivated.
2. Faulty product: your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.
In plain English: if Merlewatch Pro doesn’t work as described, isn’t of acceptable quality, or isn’t fit for the purpose I said it was for, you can get it fixed or get your money back. There is no 14-day limit on this. These rights apply for as long as is reasonable under the law, and nothing in this policy limits them.
3. How to ask for a refund
- Email merlewatch.support@gmail.com with your order number (it’s in your receipt email).
- For a fault, tell me what isn’t working so I can try to fix it, or refund you if it’s a major failure or can’t be fixed in a reasonable time.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days.
4. After a refund
Your free features keep working.
5. Questions or complaints
Email merlewatch.support@gmail.com. If we can’t sort it out, you can contact Consumer Affairs Victoria or the ACCC.
